Explanation
Code

The indicated motor (#)
has been driven hard
for too long a period of
time. The servo system
has disabled power to
protect the robot hard-
ware.
The servo system has
detected an electrical or
physical condition that
resulted in an encoder
fault.
An E-STOP condition
has been detected by
the robot.
The End-Of-Arm Break-
away Sensor has
tripped (open circuit).
Reporting of this error
can be enabled / dis-
abled via Sysmac Stu-
dio.
Firmware version mis-
match.
The temperature
sensor on the embed-
ded processor board is
at its temperature limit.
The motor encoder tem-
perature sensor indic-
ates an
overtemperature.

backup battery.
Turn high power
back on; reduce the
speed and/or accel-
eration for the
motion that was in
progress or for
motions that pre-
ceded that motion.
Repeat the motion
that failed.
Write down the fail-
ure message or
code, and look it up
in the V+ Help.
This is a normal
response to many
E-STOP conditions.
Remove the source
of the ESTOP and
re-enable high
power.
Re-close the break-
away circuit and re-
enable high power.
Contact your local
OMRON support.
Try slowing the
motion or insert
pauses. Also, check
for excessive ambi-
ent temperature,
inadequate vent-
ilation, and proper
function of any cool-
ing fans.
Reduce robot speed,
acceleration and/or
deceleration
motions, or intro-
duce delays in the
