4.1.1 Understanding the Live Tab
When the 831C is powered on, the Live tab is the first display. Since the values on the Live
tab show active, real-time values the meter is currently sensing, this page is not controlled
by the Run/Pause button. The Live tab allows you to view the current SPL (sound pressure
level) without disrupting your measured data.
