The 831C has a full-color, back-lit LCD touchscreen and allows you to select your preferred
color theme. The Dark theme is featured in this manual. For more information, see 9.5.6
Customizing the Display Color Theme.
The 831C interface is organized into tabs. The Live and Overall tabs are further organized
into pages that can be accessed using the up or down navigation buttons (
needed, additional pages of measurement data are available to purchase from Larson
Davis.
When the 831C is first powered on, the Live tab (Page 1) is the first screen you see. Press the
top-left or top-right softkeys (
two tabs to the right of the Live tab.
The 831C allows for complete operation from the meter itself.
When you select a field to enter text, a virtual keypad
appears.
