Battery States On the Power Page
Any of the following battery states can appear on the Power Page.
•
Estimated battery runtime
•
If the meter is being powered by batteries, an estimated runtime is listed in
hours.
•
Charger Off
•
The batteries are not charging.
•
Charging
•
Batteries are charging.
•
Maintain Charge
•
Batteries are at capacity.
•
Low Power Input
•
The USB cannot supply power sufficient to charge the internal batteries.
•
Too Hot/Cold
•
Batteries are not charging because there is an invalid temperature range
detected for safe charging.
•
Over Voltage
•
Attempted to charge; non-rechargeable cells, or batteries are failing.
The Memory page displays a helpful data storage calculator that can help you estimate the
amount of storage a measurement might require as shown in Figure 4-8.

The Overall tab values include all records in the current measurement.

After you configure the measurement Setup, the File Size
Estimation Total becomes valid for your proposed
measurement.

Time History (h/d): When 2 values display on this line, the
first value is the amount of memory required to store each hour
of time history data. The second value is the amount of
memory required to store each day of time history data.
3.
Events: When enabled, Events (ea.) is the amount of
memory required for each event. Event Num: Enter a number,
which is the number of events you anticipate during the
measurement.
