The 831C has 13 buttons that are used to start, stop, or pause a measurement; navigate
within the display, and power the meter off. To navigate the display on the meter, you can
press directly on the touchscreen using the tip of your finger, or use the navigation buttons
as shown in Table 2.1.

Hardware Power Switch when set to " 0 "
completely powers down the 831C for storage. Set to
" | " for instrument operation.

USB Interface 2.0 peripheral full-speed port used for
communication, full control, and downloading of
data to PC. The PSA029 external power supply may
be connected here. The maximum USB cable length
is 1m and the cable is part number CBL138.

AC/DC 2.5 mm Output jack for analog AC/DC output
