13.3.2 Using 831C as a WiFi Access Point
SoundAdvisor Model 831C
Before you begin:
Connect a WiFi USB adapter to the 831C. The WiFi status icon
the top left.
Step 1.
Navigate to Tools
Step 2.
Select an available network. If no network appears on the list, select Menu and
select Refresh List as shown in Figure 13-3.
To connect to a hidden network, click Menu Add Network and provide the
TRY THIS
network name.
Step 3.
If required, enter the network password, and click Add.
Step 4.
Verify your network connection details by clicking the newly added network in
the list.

Setting the 831C as an Access Point enables the meter to broadcast a WiFi signal that other
devices can connect to.
Before you begin:
Download the LD Atlas app for mobile devices.
Connect a WiFi USB adapter or USB hub (for multiple devices) to the 831C.
