Installing MIL for Microsoft Windows CE

After installation of Microsoft Visual Studio and the Matrox Iris GT utilities, you
need to install MIL for Microsoft Windows CE on your development computer.
To install the software, insert the MIL for Microsoft Windows CE DVD into
the DVD drive of your development computer. To start the Setup utility, run
setup.exe from the root folder of the DVD.
Follow the instructions specified by Setup. However, keep in mind the following:
• If you need to change the default disk/partition and path in which to install MIL
for Microsoft Windows CE, remember that the Matrox Iris GT utilities and
Microsoft Visual Studio should all be on the same disk/partition, although they
can be located in different paths. We recommend you use the path that is assigned
by default.
• Once the setup procedure is complete, click on the Finish button to conclude the
installation of MIL for Microsoft Windows CE on your development computer.

Removing software used in application development

To remove any of the installed software from your development computer, use the
Add/Remove Programs utility found in your Windows Control Panel, and
remove the following items in the order that they are listed:
• Matrox Iris GT Utilities.
• Matrox Iris GT SDK.
• MIL for Windows CE.
• If necessary, Microsoft Visual Studio service pack(s).
• Microsoft Visual Studio.
❖ Note that you should always uninstall the old version of the software before
installing a new version, unless installing an update.
