Introduction

This chapter deals with the installation of software on your development
computer, which allows you to create and transfer MIL applications to your
Matrox Iris GT.
Installing software on your development
computer
All Microsoft Windows CE applications are created on your computer. Once
completed, the executable files are transferred to your Matrox Iris GT for
execution or remote debugging.
This section describes the procedures necessary to install all the software required
to create, build, and transfer imaging applications to your Matrox Iris GT running
Microsoft Windows CE.
To create a Microsoft Windows CE application on your development computer,
you need to install the following specialized software, in the order listed:

of utilities, samples, and documentation.
• The Matrox Iris GT SDK includes library (*.lib)
and header (*.h) files that are used to create

MIL for Microsoft Windows CE.
