- READF. Reads the specified registry subkey from a file, and overwrites the
subkey of the same name in the permanent registry on your Matrox Iris GT.
• Filename. Specifies the file name.
• SubKeyName. Specifies the type of registry subkey. This parameter can be set to
one of the following:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SubKey
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SubKey
- HKEY_ROOT_CLASSES\SubKey
- HKEY_USERS\SubKey
In the above list, SubKey represents the name of the registry subkey to be saved or
read. Note that if SubKey is omitted, the entire key folder will be saved.
Example
The following example will write the registry entries and subentries located under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ident into the text file \UserDisk\myregs.reg.
RegDump SAVE \UserDisk\myreg.REG HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\IDENT
Errors
• Error saving registry into fname. The registry subkey cannot be saved to a file
with the specified name. The file name provided might be invalid.
• The registry subkey selected is missing. The specified subkey could not be found
in the registry of your Matrox Iris GT. Verify that the specified subkey exists and
that its name was entered correctly.
• Registry restored with errors. The file used as input might be corrupt.
