While the CONMANCLIENT2 utility is running, the telnet window used by
CONMANCLIENT2 will receive and display stdin/stdout messages sent by your
MIL application.
3. Within three minutes, open a second command prompt window and type the
following at the prompt:
telnet IrisName
A welcome message appears, followed by the telnet prompt.
4. Type the following at the telnet prompt:
CMACCEPT.EXE
This allows your Matrox Iris GT to proceed with a debugger connection.
Note that if you establish your first connection within three minutes, you can
continue deploying and debugging indefinitely as long as you are using the
same Microsoft Visual Studio instance. If you need to connect from another
instance of Microsoft Visual Studio, this whole process must be performed
again.
5. In Microsoft Visual Studio, select the Tools Connect to device menu command.
The Connect to device dialog box opens.
6. Select IRISGTDISP CE6 from the Platform drop-down list box.
7. Click on the Connect button. A successful connection will result in a message
dialog box opening.
8. Click on the Close button to close the open dialog boxes.
Note that you can disable CMACCEPT by selecting the Disable CMACCEPT
security step for Microsoft Visual Studio debugger connection option on the
Visual studio debugging communications setting page, accessible from the
Administration utility page of the Matrox Iris portal website.
