ExecLog utility

The ExecLog utility dumps the execution log to the console or a file.
Syntax
\>ExecLog [Action] [Value]
Parameters
• Action. Specifies the action that the utility should perform. This parameter can
be set to one of the following values:
- Dump. Prints the contents of the execution log to the console.
- Save. Saves the contents of the execution log to the specified file. Use the Value
parameter to set the name of the file.
- Log. Writes a specified string (in quotations) to the execution log. Use the Value
parameter to set the string to be logged.
- Clear. Clears the execution log.
Set. Sets whether the execution log should be enabled or disabled. Use the Value
parameter to specify the file name of the execution log to enable or disable.
• Value. Specifies the value that the utility should use. This parameter can be set to
one of the following values:
- Filename. Specifies the name of the file in which to save the contents of the
execution log. Note that this can only be used when the Action parameter is
set to Save.
- "Log string". Specifies the string to write to the execution log. Note that the
string must be in quotations. This setting can only be used when the Action
parameter is set to Log.
- 0/1. Specifies that the execution log should be enabled (1) or disabled (0). This
setting can only be used when the Action parameter is set to Set.
