Specifies the information entered in the Description field on the Identification settings
page, which can be accessed from the Administration utility page.
Specifies the model number of the particular smart camera found. This value is directly
associated with the hardware of your smart cameras and cannot be changed.
Specifies the unique serial number of the particular smar t camera found. This value is
directly associated with the hardware of your smart cameras and cannot be changed.
Specifies a series of unique serial numbers, separated by dashes, which identify the
motherboard (MB), and sensor (SB) of the particular smart camera found.

The Essential information page presents information about your Matrox Iris GT.
Note that the information presented on the Essential information page cannot
be modified directly. Refer to the individual field descriptions to determine how
to modify the displayed information (when possible).
Note that it is strongly recommended that you save a copy of this webpage as a
text file before using the FullRescue utility, upgrading the software for your Matrox
Iris GT, or for future reference.
Description
Specifies the model number of your Matrox Iris GT. This value is directly associated with the
hardware of your Matrox Iris GT and cannot be changed.
Specifies the current date and time. To change this information, refer to the Time/date settings
page, which can be accessed from the Administration utility page.
Specifies the name used to identify your Matrox Iris GT on your network. This document refers to
this name as the Matrox Iris GT name. To change this information, refer to the Identification
settings page, which can be accessed from the Administration utility page. This can also be set
using the Matrox IrisBootParams utility.
Specifies the IP address of your Matrox Iris GT. To change this information, refer to the TCP/IP
settings page, which can be accessed from the Administration utility page.
Note that if the network allocation mode is set to DHCP , the IP address cannot be changed
without first disabling DHCP . This can also be set using the Matrox IrisBootParams utility.
Specifies whether DHCP is used to obtain the IP address of your Matrox Iris GT. To change this
information, refer to the TCP/IP settings page, which can be accessed from the Administration
utility page. This can also be set using the Matrox IrisBootParams utility.
Specifies the bit mask used to identify which bits in the IP address correspond to the subnet
portions of the address. To change this information, refer to the TCP/IP settings page, which can
be accessed from the Administration utility page.
Note that if the network allocation mode is set to DHCP , the subnet mask cannot be changed
without first disabling DHCP . This can also be set using the Matrox IrisBootParams utility.
