Description
Enables the ability to detect and count the number of times that your Matrox Iris GT
fails to boot properly.
When enabled, after the maximum number of unsuccessful boots allowed occurs,
the boot section of your Matrox Iris GT will be reset to factory defaults. A
successful boot is considered to be complete when the AutoStCE process star ts
and resets the boot failure count to zero. Failures are logged in the execution log
and a corresponding message is sent to the serial port using the print POST string
to serial port service, if enabled.
Sets the maximum number of times that your Matrox Iris GT can fail to boot before
stopping the boot process and presenting a new error message.
Specifies the total amount of non-paged linear memory (DMA) reserved for MIL, in
Kbytes. This value can be read on the Essential information page.
Specifies whether the operating system's persistent registry will be used when your
Matrox Iris GT reboots. When disabled, the factory configured registry will be used
and no change to the registry will be persistent.
Specifies the amount of RAM dedicated to the RAM file system (that is, the
\RAMFiles and \(root) folders), in Kbytes. This value must be at least 2048 and is
limited by the amount of installed RAM inside your Matrox Iris GT. In addition, this
value must be set to a multiple of 1024 bytes (for example, to set a value of
2 Mbytes for the RAM file system, this value must be set to 2048 Kbytes).
Specifies the target (ideal) size of the memory to reserve for the operating system
loader process. The reserved memory holds the paged information, EXE, and DLL
files that are used by the operating system.
Specifies the maximum size of the memory reserved for the operating system
loader process. When the amount of memory is greater than required, a trim thread
starts to reduce the amount of memory reserved.
Specifies whether the COM port is reserved for a Windows application, or used to
print messages from the Boot ROM firmware.
Set this field to one of the following values:
• POST string print. The Boot ROM firmware monitor can be used to debug your
Matrox Iris GT as it boots.
• WIN32 application access. The Boot ROM firmware monitor cannot be used.
Instead a Win32 application is granted access to the COM port on your Matrox
Iris GT.
Specifies that COM por t management threads will be given a higher priority than
image acquisition. COM port management threads should be given priority if your
program relies on COM por t input and output more than image acquisition.
