Residual Risks

In the design of the unit, every measure is taken to protect personnel from
potential danger. However, some residual risks cannot be avoided, such as:
Burns from hot material
S
Burns when filling the tank, from the tank lid, and from the tank lid
S
supports
Burns when conducting maintenance and repair work for which the
S
melter must be heated up
Burns when attaching and removing heated hoses
S
Inhaling potentially hazardous material fumes
S
Damage to cables/lines belonging to the customer if they were
S
installed such that they come into contact with hot or rotating parts
Automatic Pressure Discharge (APD) valve malfunction due to
S
hardened or charred material
