5) The front/rear alignment motor (M108/M109) is driven to move the alignment plate (front/
rear), thus aligning the sheets stacked in the processing tray. This operation is performed
each time paper is fed to the processing tray.

Shift Operation

Sheets fed to the processing tray are aligned to the front or rear using the alignment plates.
Alignment positions are as follows:
Front alignment: 15 mm frontward from the center
Rear alignment: 15 mm rearward from the center
