Turning On the System

After attaching all the cables and external devices, you are ready to
turn on the system.
1.
Turn on the monitor and any other external devices—such as
external drives, printers, or modems—by pressing their power
buttons.
2.
Open the sliding front panel of the system by pressing lightly on
the lower half of the panel, as shown in Figure 1-8.
The panel automatically slides down into the cover to expose the
removable media drives and the power and reset buttons.
3.
Press the power button, shown in Figure 1-11.
The system powers on automatically.
