Making basic safety settings
Selecting the safety functionality
Note
The selection of the safety functionality can be made offline. The selection can be made
online with active safety commissioning (processing mode).
1. In the secondary navigation of the drive axis, execute the "Drive functions > Safety
Integrated > Function selection" menu item
2. Select the required functionality in the first drop-down list:
– No safety function
– Basic functions
– Extended/Advanced Functions
The screen form is then extended with the additional setting options (see below).
Note
Call of the Extended Functions and the Advanced Functions is identical. The safety
functions displayed in the screen form correspond with your acquired safety license(s).
Thus, if a license exists for Advanced Functions, the Extended Functions are also
automatically included therein. If a license exists for Extended Functions only, only these
functions will be displayed in the screen form.
