8-35 Minimum Response Delay
Range:
1 - 500 ms
Function:
Specifies a minimum delay-time between receiving
a request and transmitting a response. This is used
for overcoming modem turnaround delays.
8-36 Max Response Delay
Range:
1 - 10000 ms
Function:
Specifies a maximum allowed delay-time between
transmitting a request and expecting a response.
Exceeding this delay causes control word time-out.
8-37 Max Inter-Char Delay
Range:
0 - 30 ms
Function:
Maximum waiting time between two received bytes.
It ensures time-out, if transmission is interrupted.
Note: This is only enforced when the FC MC
protocol is selected in par. 8-30.

If you select Bus, you can only activate the
Start command if it is transmitted via the serial
communication port or fieldbus option. If you
select Logic AND, you must also activate the
command via one of the digital inputs. If you
select Logic OR, you can also activate the Start
command via one of the digital inputs.
