FC 300 Design Guide
3-77 Ramp 4 S-ramp Ratio at Decel. Start
Range:
1 - 99%
Function:
Set the period of the total ramp down time
(par. 3-72) where the deceleration torque
is growing smoothly. A large percentage
minimises torque jerks.
3-78 Ramp 4 S-ramp Ratio at Decel. End
Range:
1 - 99%
Function:
Set the period of the total ramp down time
(par. 3-72) where the deceleration torque
is declining smoothly. A large percentage
minimises torque jerks.

e.g. Jog or Quick Stop.
3-80 Jog Ramp Time
Range:
0.01 - 3600.00 s
Function:
The jog ramp time is the acceleration/deceleration
time from 0 RPM to the rated motor frequency
n
par. 1-25. The output current cannot be

higher than the torque limit (set in par. 4-16).
The jog ramp time starts when you activate a jog
signal via the control panel, a programmed digital
input, or the serial communication port.

3-81 Quick Stop Ramp Time
Range:
0.01 - 3600.00 s
50%
Function:
The ramp-down time is the deceleration time
from the rated motor speed to 0 RPM. No over-
voltage can arise in the inverter due to generating
operation of the motor. Nor can the generated
current be higher than the torque limit (set in
par. 4-17). Quick-stop is activated by means
of a signal on a programmed digital input, or
via the serial communication port.

3-9* Digital Pot.Meter
"
This function allows the user to increase or decrease
the resulting reference by activating digital inputs
setup as either INCREASE, DECREASE or CLEAR. At
least one digital input must be set up as INCREASE
or DECREASE to make the function active.
3-90 Step Size
Range:
0.01 - 200.00%
Function:
If INCREASE / DECREASE is activated the resulting
reference will be increased / decreased by the
amount set in this parameter.
