Syntax
:SYSTem:AOUTput <aoutput>
:SYSTem:AOUTput?
Description
Sets or queries the type of the signal output from the [Trig Out/Calibration] connector on the rear
panel.

Remarks
TOUT: indicates that each time the oscilloscope triggers, a signal that can reflect the current capture
rate of the oscilloscope will be output from the [Trig Out/Calibration] connector on the rear panel.
QEDGe: indicates that a fast edge signal whose rise time is 500 ps will be output from the [Trig
Out/Calibration] connector on the rear panel. The signal can be used for the self-calibration of the
oscilloscope.
GND: indicates that a ground level will be output from the [Trig Out/Calibration] connector on the rear
panel.
PFAil: indicates that when a failed waveform is detected by the oscilloscope, a pulse will be output
from the [Trig Out/Calibration] connector on the rear panel.
Return Format
The query returns TOUT, QEDG, GND, or PFA.
