Chapter 2 Command System

Syntax
:SYSTem:AUToscale <bool>
:SYSTem:AUToscale?
Description
Enables or disables the Auto function; or queries the on/off status of the Auto function.

1|ON: enables the Auto function. After it is enabled, you can use the :AUToscale command (or press

AUTO on the front panel) to make the oscilloscope perform a waveform auto setting operation.
0|OFF: disables the Auto function.


The query returns 1 or 0.

Syntax
:SYSTem:BEEPer <bool>
:SYSTem:BEEPer?
Description
Turns on or off the beeper; or queries the on/off status of the beeper.

Remarks
1|ON: turns on the beeper. After it is turned on, the beeper sounds when you operate the menu or

when a prompt message is displayed.
0|OFF: turns off the beeper.

