Chapter 2 Command System
Remarks
The format of <string> is nnn,nnn,nnn,nnn. The range of the first section of "nnn" is from 1 to 223
(except 127), and the ranges of the other three sections of "nnn" are from 0 to 255.
When the DHCP configuration mode is valid (refer to the :LAN:DHCP command), the DHCP server in
the current network will assign the IP address to the oscilloscope. You can use this command to query
the current IP address.
When the auto IP configuration mode is valid (refer to the :LAN:AUToip command), the oscilloscope
will get the IP address ranging from 169.254.0.1 to 169.254.255.254 automatically according to the
current network configuration. You can use this command to query the current IP address.
When the static IP configuration mode (refer to the :LAN:MANual command) is valid, you can use this
command to set or query the IP address.
Return Format
The query returns the IP address in strings.

:LAN:MAC?

Syntax
:LAN:MAC?
Description
Queries the MAC address of the instrument.
Remarks
The MAC address of each oscilloscope is unique. When assigning an IP address for an oscilloscope, you can
identify the instrument by its MAC address.

:LAN:MANual

Syntax
:LAN:MANual <bool>
:LAN:MANual?
Description
Turns on or off the static IP configuration mode; or queries the on/off status of the static IP configuration
mode.

Remarks
The high-to-low priority of the three IP configuration modes is "DHCP", "Auto IP" and "Static IP". The
three IP configuration modes cannot be all turned off at the same time. To use the static IP
configuration mode, turn on this configuration mode, and turn off both the DHCP configuration mode
and auto IP configuration mode.
When the static IP configuration mode is valid, you can define the network parameters, such as the IP
address (refer to the :LAN:IPADdress command), the subnet mask (refer to the :LAN:SMASk
command), the gateway address (refer to the :LAN:GATeway command), and the DNS server address
(refer to the :LAN:DNS command).

The query returns 1 or 0.
