5. Calibration

5.1.Selecting Calibration Type

S3601 Series Vector Network Analyzer supports 7 calibration types. The detailed information on each calibration type is as follows:

5.1.1. Open Response

Calibration precision: low to medium.

Measure parameters: S11 and S22.

The required calibration standard: open-circuit device.

The corrected system errors:

Reflection Tracing

Measure application:

Reflection Measure on any port.


5.1.2. Short Response

Calibration precision: low to medium.

Measure parameters: S11 and S22.

The required calibration standard: short-circuit device.


Calibration precision: medium.

Measure parameters: S12 and S21.

The required calibration standard: through standard.







