6.6.1.3.
Type
The type box is used to set the type of limit test:
ON:to activate the limit segment test.
OFF:to close the limit segment test.
Begin stimulus and End stimulus
To set the start stimulus value and stop stimulus value of ripple limit line segment.
Max Ripple
To set the maximum fluctuation value the limit line can display in the ripple segment test.

6.6.2. Set ripple test

After the creation of ripple limit line, you can choose to display or hide the ripple limit line of any trace. When the limit line is hidden,
the corresponding ripple test is still effective. You can choose to send out alarm sound and display FAIL mark to indicate the test.
When the ripple test function is enabled, the default color of the failed trace is set to red and you can change the color through the
color setup of the right key menu of the mouse and the color of the passed part of the limit test remains unchanged.

Click [Marker/Analysis],click [Limit Test...] in the [Analysis] menu to display the limit test box.

Set the limit test in the dialog box.
Click [OK] to close the box.By front panel keys

1)
Press 【Analysis】 in MKR/ANALYSIS area and press corresponding soft-key of [Ripple Test] on the soft-key menu
that turns up.

Press corresponding soft-key of [Ripple Test on|OFF] to trigger the opening and closing of limit test function.
3)
Press corresponding soft-key of [Ripple Show on|OFF] to display the ripple limit line.
4)
Press corresponding soft-key of [Fail Sign on|OFF] to enable the FAIL mark display of the limit test.
5)
Press corresponding soft-key of [Edit Ripple Limit] and press corresponding soft-key of [Ripple Table on|OFF] in the
sub-menu that turns up to enable the display of limit table.
The ripple test is only made at actual sweeping test points. When there is a few sweeping points, the performance of the device
under test may not meet the requirement but it can also pass the ripple test. So, in the actual test, you must use enough sweeping
points.
