If it is necessary to observe frequency domain response of the measured piece when the gate function is still effective,
click [Transform] option button in Time Domain Transform dialog box and click to clear [Transform] check box.
h)
Click [OK] to close Time Domain Transform dialog box after setting.
Techniques for time domain transformation setting
When closing Time Domain Transform dialog box while starting time domain transformation and time domain gate, drag the mouse to
change border settings of time domain gate: indicate start and stop of the gate with symbol "
symbol of the gate with the mouse, press left key of the mouse, when mouse pointer become horizontal indication "↔", drag mouse
to move border indicating symbol of the gate to location required and release left key to finish the setting of gate start or stop.
After setting of time domain Measure are finished through Time Domain Transform dialog box, close Time Domain Transform dialog
box, enable Time Domain toolbar to adjust settings for time domain Measure, and in this way, effect of setting change toward
Measure can be observed clearly. See "Trigger Toolbar Display" in Section 9 "Setting Analyzer Display" in Chapter V for setting
method of Time Domain toolbar.
8.7.2. By front panel keys—Time Domain Transform Dialog Box
a)
Press 【 Analysis 】 in MKR/ANALYSIS area, press soft-key corresponding to [Transform], relative soft-key menu
appears, press corresponding soft-key of [Transform ...] to display Time Domain Transform dialog box.
b)
Press 【Tab】 in ADJUST area to switch to [Transform] check box, press 【Click】 to select check box to Stimulus
time domain transformation function.
c)
Press 【Tab】 to switch to Transformation Mode zone, Press 【↑】 , 【↓】 in ADJUST area or rotate knob to select [Low
Pass Impulse], [Low Pass Step] or [Band Pass] mode.
d)
Press 【Tab】to switch to [Start], [Stop] or [Center], [Span] box to set time domain Measure range.
e)
Set window function: press 【Tab】 to switch to [Transform] option button, press 【↑】 , 【↓】 or rotate knob to switch
to [Window] option button and then set window filter in three methods below:
Press 【Tab】 to switch to sliding block box, press【↑】, 【↓】or rotate knob till pulse width or sidelobe level meets the
requirement.
Press 【Tab】 to switch to [Gaesarian Window β Para] to adjust setting of value β, till pulse width or sidelobe level meets the
requirement.
Press 【Tab】 to switch to [Pulse Span] to set response pulse width directly.

Set filtering function of time domain gate: press 【Tab】to switch to [Window] option button, press 【↑】, 【↓】 or
