Reducing Stripes Between Passes

MAPS Function

If the feed lines do not disappear even after performing media feed correction, use the MAPS (Mimaki
Advanced PassSystem) function to disperse the pass boundary to make the feed lines less visible.
With this machine, you can use the MAPS2 function.
• When MAPS function is enabled, the hues may be different compared to when it is disabled. Hence,
confirm the desired effects before using these functions.
• It may not be possible to acquire the effect of the MAPS function depending on the images to be printed.
Hence, confirm the desired effects before using these functions.
• When printing with the 4 + 4SP ink set with the minimum number of passes, the MAPS function of special
color is disabled.
