Notes on USB 2.0 Interface
• Your RIP must be compatible with the USB 2.0.
l When multiple machines are connected to one personal computer
When multiple machines are connected to one personal computer, the computer may not recognize all of
these machines normally.
In case of a personal computer with multiple USB ports, reconnect this machine to another available USB
port, and check if it is recognized. If the machine is not recognized even in the new USB port, use the USB
2.0 repeater cables available in the market. (However, the distance between the machine and the personal
computer should be 20 m or less.)
l Notes on peripheral devices in USB high speed mode
When a peripheral device (USB memory or USB HDD) to be operated in USB high speed mode is connected
to the same personal computer to which the machine is connected, the USB device may not be recognized.
When the machine is connected to the personal computer to which an external HDD is connected via USB,
the speed of data output to the machine may drop. This may cause the head unit to stop temporarily at the
right or left end during printing.
Use a USB cable shorter than 5 m.
