Chapter 5 Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting

Check again before deciding the trouble as malfunction. If there is no improvement even after
troubleshooting, contact your local distributor, or our sales office or call center.

Power does not turn on

In most of the cases, the power does not turn on due to improper connection of the power cable for the
machine or the computer. Check that the power cable is connected properly.
Check points
Is the power cable connected to the machine
and the power outlet?
Is the main power turned on?
Is the power button located at the front of the
machine turned on?

Machine does not start printing

The problem of machine not able to print occurs when the data is not being transmitted to the machine
properly.
It may also occur if the printing function does not work properly or the media is not installed correctly.
Check points
Is the correct interface cable used?
Is the interface cable connected properly?
Is a message indicating that ink has run out displayed?

Image quality is poor

This section explains the measures to be taken if the print quality is not satisfactory. Take measures
according to the cause. If there is no improvement even after troubleshooting, contact your local distributor,
or our sales office or call center.
Problem
White lines/blur/dark lines occur (in the
direction of head movement)
Misalignment in reversible printing
Ink drips during printing

Connect the power cable securely if it is not connected.
Turn the main power on if it is not already on.

Securely connect the interface cable.
Replace the ink bottle with a new one.
