Setting Ink Bottles

1
Take out the ink bottle and gently shake it side to side 20 times or more.
• To prevent the ink from leaking when the bottle is shaken, wear hand gloves and close the lid of the
ink bottle with a paper towel. Then shake the bottle from side to side at least 20 times to ensure a
slow ink flow.
• Make sure that the lid is closed tightly before shaking the bottle.
• Be careful while shaking the bottle, because the ink may leak to outside if you shake the bottle too
hard.
• If only a small amount of ink is remaining, it may not be possible to stir it properly. Hence, to stir the
ink properly, tilt the ink bottle until it becomes vertical.
