Chapter 1 Before Use

Operation Panel

Use the operation panel to perform settings for printing or operate this machine.
[VACUUM] key
Press to attach the media on the
table.
[UP] key
Press when raising the carriage.
[DOWN] key
Press when lowering the carriage.
Display
Displays the status of this machine, set items and errors.
JOG keys
Use these keys to shift the head or the Y-bar
in LOCAL mode. You can also use these keys
to select a printing condition.

[ADJUST] key
Performs the adjusting functions
such as drop position correction.
[MAINT.] key
Performs the maintenance functions
such as station maintenance.
[FUNCTION] key
Press to use the various functions.
[END] key
Press to finish the setting or cancel
the setting.
POWER Lamp
Lights up when the power is turned on.
[TEST] key
Prints test patterns to check for possible
printing failures such as ink clogging.
[CLEANING] key
Performs head cleaning if there are ink clogs.
[DATA CLEAR] key
Deletes the data received by this machine.
[REMOTE] key
Press to switch between [REMOTE]
and [LOCAL].
[ENTER] key
Press to confirm a setting.
