Connecting a LAN Cable
Observe the following precautions when connecting the LAN cable.
• Make sure you push it in firmly until you hear a clicking sound.
• Do not plug or unplug the cable while data is being transferred.

Printing Data via a Network
If you want to print data via a network, you must construct the network in the following environment.
Constructing in an improper environment may cause printing to stop.
• Use Category 6 and above LAN cables.
• Use 1000BASE-T compatible PCs and switching hubs.
• Make sure the printer and the PC sending the print data are in the same network.
• They cannot be connected through a router.
