Used to configure the System IP interface.
config ipif System [{vlan <vlan_name
32>|ipaddress <network_address>|state
[enable|disable]|bootp|dhcp}]
This command is used to configure the System
IP interface on the Switch.
<network_address> − IP address and netmask
of the IP interface to be created. You can
specify the address and mask information using
the traditional format (for example,
10.1.2.3|255.0.0.0 or in CIDR format,
10.1.2.3|16).
<vlan_name 32> − The name of the VLAN
corresponding to the System IP interface.
state [enable|disable] − Allows you to enable or
disable the IP interface.
bootp − Allows the selection of the BOOTP
protocol for the assignment of an IP address to
the Switch's System IP interface.
dhcp − Allows the selection of the DHCP
protocol for the assignment of an IP address to
the Switch's System IP interface.
Only administrator-level users can issue this
command.
