For more information about using the CLI, see the ETERNUS CS800 Command
Line Interface (CLI) Guide.
To enable or disable the CLI accounts:
1. Under CLI Administrator or CLI Viewer, do one of the following steps:
Select the Enable CLI Administrator Login or Enable CLI View Login check box to
l
enable the CLI administrator or viewer account.
Clear the Enable CLI Administrator Login or Enable CLI View Login check box to
l
disable the CLI administrator or viewer account.
2. The CLI administrator and view accounts may be configured with Secure Shell (SSH)
key-based authentication.
Add a SSH Public Key
a. Click Add.
The Add Public Key page displays.

b. Enter an SSH Alias for the public key.

c. Copy and paste the Public Key generated from a SSH key.

An alias can be up to 20 characters.

Alias must be an alphanumeric string (no spaces or special characters).

It is OK to have the same alias for different accounts (CLI Administrator and

CLI Viewer).
A public key should be in the following form: <key-type> <base64 encoded
