Details
To set the paper type (paper weight) for setting 9.
Setting 9 is the combination condition of environment, paper type (paper
weight), color mode/feed side that are set in TR-ENV9, TR-PPR9 and
TR-DUP9. When this condition is satisfied, the paper allotted voltage
adjusted in TR-VL9 is applied at the time of secondary transfer.
Use case
When an image failure that differs due to the paper type occurs (mottled
image/density loss due to excessive transfer/toner scattering on solid
image, etc.)
Adj/set/operate method Enter the setting value, and then press OK key.
Display/adj/set range
1 to 25
1: Plain paper 1 (64 to 75 g/m2), 2: Plain paper 2 (76 to 90 g/m2)/
Colored paper (64 to 82 g/m2), 3: Plain paper 3 (91 to 105 g/m2), 4:
Recycled paper 1 (64 to 75 g/m2), 5: Recycled paper 2 (76 to 90 g/m2),
6: Recycled paper 3 (91 to 105 g/m2), 7: Thin paper (52 to 63 g/m2), 8:
Heavy paper 1 (106 to 128 g/m2), 9: Heavy paper 2 (129 to 163 g/m2),
10: Heavy paper 3 (164 to 220 g/m2), 11: Heavy paper 4 (221 to 256 g/
m2), 12: 1-sided coated paper 1 (106 to 128 g/m2), 13: 1-sided coated

Supplement/memo
Up to 16 combination patterns can be set in TR-VL1 to 16 (setting
1 to 16). When there is more than one setting where all conditions
(environment, paper type and color mode/feed side) are the same, the
setting with a smaller setting number is applied.
