Setting the Privilege Level for a Command

Follow these steps to set the privilege level for a command:
Purpose
Enters line configuration mode, and configures the console port (line
0) or the VTY lines (line 0 to 15).
Enables local password checking at login time. Authentication is
based on the username specified in Step 3.
Returns to privileged EXEC mode.
Verifies your entries.
(Optional) Saves your entries in the configuration file.
