Connecting Instruments or Peripherals

CONTROL Selects the 4155C/4156C Control Command Set used to control
the unit with an external controller or built-in IBASIC.
Select "4155/4156" to use the 4155C/4156C command set (SCPI
or FLEX commands).
Select "4145" to use the 4145 syntax command set. You will also
need to set the DELIMITER and EOI fields.

To Connect Parallel Peripherals

The 4155C/4156C has a 25 pin parallel I/O interface port for connecting peripherals,
such as a Centronics parallel printer.
To use a parallel printer, connect a parallel cable from the 4155C/4156C to the
peripheral. You do not need to define any fields on the setup screen.
