4. To set the LANGUAGE, select PCL, HR PCL, HP-GL, TIFF or HR TIFF
softkey.
If you select PCL, HR PCL, or HR TIFF mode, set the RESOLUTION by
selecting one softkey: 75 DPI to 600 DPI. For more information on selecting
resolution, see "Output Resolution" on page 5-5.
If you select the HR PCL mode, setting the resolution too low will result in poor
print quality.
5. If you select HR PCL or HP-GL, set the OUTPUT REGION. There are two
available fields:
UPPER LEFT
LOWER RIGHT
Select one of the following softkeys, or enter a value using the keyboard or the
ENTRY keys on the front panel. These softkeys are available for each OUTPUT
REGION field:
WHOLE
UPPER LEFT
UPPER RIGHT
LOWER LEFT
LOWER RIGHT
STORE REGION
RECALL REGION Recalls the latest settings stored in the internal memory.
To set the output region to the upper half of the paper, the OUTPUT REGION
should be defined as follows:
*OUTPUT REGION
UPPER LEFT
LOWER RIGHT
6. To start to save the screen image, select PRINT/PLOT softkey.
7. To close the SCREEN DUMP dialog box, select EXIT softkey.

Specifies the position of the lower-right corner of the
printed or plotted hard copy.
Sets the output region as the entire sheet.
Sets the output region to the upper-left quarter of the
paper.
Sets the output region to the upper-right quarter of the
paper.
Sets the output region to the lower-left quarter of the
paper.
Sets the output region to the lower-right quarter of the
paper.
Stores the OUTPUT REGION settings in the internal
memory.
