Setpoint sources
The closed-loop control setpoint can be interconnected from various sources using
BICO technology, e. g. to p1070 CI: main setpoint (see function diagram 3030).
There are various options for setpoint input:
S Fixed speed setpoints
S Motorized potentiometer
S Jog
S Field bus
– e.g. setpoint via PROFIBUS
S Via the analog inputs on the following components:
– Terminal Board 30 (TB30)
– Terminal Module 31 (TM31)

Jog

Description
This function can be selected via digital inputs or via a field bus (e.g. PROFIBUS).
The setpoint is, therefore, predefined via p1058[D] and p1059[D].
When a jog signal is present, the motor is accelerated to the jog setpoint with the
acceleration ramp of the ramp-function generator (referred to the maximum speed
p1082; see Fig. 2-3). After the jog signal has been deselected, the motor is decele-
rated via the set ramp of the ramp-function generator.
Caution
The jog function is not PROFIdrive compatible!
