Example, hot plugging

Description
Using the hot-plugging function, components can be withdraw from the operational
drive line-up (the other components continue to operate) on the DRIVE-CLiQ line.
This means that the corresponding drive object must first be de-activated/parked
beforehand using parameter p0105 or STW2.7 (also refer to 4.12 and 4.13).
The following prerequisites must be fulfilled:
S Hot plugging is only possible when a drive object is connected in a star
configuration to a Control Unit or to the DRIVE-CLiQ Hub DMC20.
The system does not support removing DRIVE-CLiQ connections between the
other DRIVE-CLiQ components e.g. Sensor/Terminal Module to the Motor
Module, Motor Module to the Motor Module.
S De-activating the complete drive object using p0105 or STW2.7. In so doing, all
of the components, that are assigned to the drive object (e.g. Motion Modules
and Sensor Modules) are deactivated.

Note
In order to disconnect and isolate the power unit from the DC link, additional
measures must be applied – such as DC link wiring through the DC link infeed
adapter and DC link disconnecting devices. The safety information and
instructions in the Equipment Manual must be carefully observed.
