Features
S Redundancy for power units
S Power unit can be de-activated via parameter (p0125)
S Power unit can be de-activated via binector input (p0895)
Description
Redundant operation can be used so that operation can be continued in spite of
the failure of one power unit connected in parallel. In order that the failed power
unit can be replaced, DRIVE-CLiQ cables must be connected in a star-type confi-
guration – it may be necessary to use a DRIVE-CLiQ HUB Module (DMC20). The
power unit can be de-activated using p0125 or using binector input p0895 (also
refer to Section 4.12).
Conditions
S Minimum firmware release 2.4
S Connecting power units in parallel with the appropriate power reserves (also
refer to Section 4.7).
S DRIVE-CLiQ star topology (possibly a DMC20, refer to the Equipment Manual)
S Motor with one single-winding system (p7003 = 0)
S No safe standstill
