Measuring a straight line
For the second reference edge, you can measure a straight line, for example.

Select Line in the geometry palette
Position the first measuring point on the reference edge
Tap Enter in the Inspector
A new feature is displayed in the feature list of the Inspector
Distribute the measuring points along the entire
length of the edge, as far as possible. This
minimizes the angular error.
Position the second measuring point on the reference edge
Tap Enter in the Inspector
Depending on the configuration of the measuring
point acquisition, you can also capture additional
measuring points for the line. In this way you
increase the accuracy.
Tap Finish in the new feature
The line is displayed in the feature list of the Inspector
