Electrostatically discharge yourself by touching a grounded object

before handling the components. Be aware that electrostatic-
sensitive devices (ESDs) should only be held at the edges and placed
on a pad which is free of electrostatic charge.
Any devices or tools that are used must be free of electrostatic
charge. For this purpose wear an electrostatic wristband or use a
suitable grounding cable that connects you to the external chassis of
the system unit.

Ê Press the touch points on the inside of the eject handles (1) of the server
blade to disengage the locking mechanism of the handles.
Ê Turn the eject handles outward (2) into the unlocked position.
