The Server Blade
!
If only one processor is installed in a server blade, a dummy heat sink
must be installed over the second CPU socket to guarantee the stipu-
lated cooling of the server blade components.
Replacing the Server Blade Lithium Battery
To permanently save system information, a lithium battery is installed on the
server blade to power the CMOS memory. When the battery voltage is too low or
the battery is empty, a corresponding error message is displayed. In this case
the lithium battery must be replaced.
– Incorrect replacement of the lithium battery may lead to risk of
!

– The lithium battery must be replaced with an identical battery or with
a battery type recommended by the manufacturer (CR2032).
– Do not throw lithium batteries into the trashcan. Please dispose of
batteries in accordance with local government regulations.
