Initial operation and operating
There are three LED indicators on the front of the power supply unit for PSU
status monitoring.
Power supply condition
AC present/only standby
outputs ON
Power supply DC outputs
ON and OK
Fan failure alert
Current limit
Alert # or fan # shutdown
* The blinking LED can be reset only via power ON/power OFF and/or by
unplugging the power supply cable.
Each PSU contains three fans (see
i
details). If fan 1 fails, the PSU is shut down in order to avoid airflow
disruption and satisfy fire protection measures. If either fan 2 or fan 3 fail,
the PSU continues working. However, replacing the defective PSU is
strongly recommended!
