Removal and Installation Routines

Main Memory

On the server blade there are three memory banks. A memory bank consists of
two 184-pin DIMM sockets. A memory bank can be populated with 512 MB, 1
GB, 2 GB or 4GB DDR-SDRAM consisting of two modules. The maximum
memory expansion is 12 GB.

Installing memory modules

Electrostatically discharge yourself by touching a grounded object before

handling the components. Be aware that electrostatic-sensitive devices
(ESDs) should only be held at the edges and placed on a pad which is
free of electrostatic charge.
Any devices or tools that are used must be free of electrostatic charge.
For this purpose wear an electrostatic wristband or use a suitable
grounding cable that connects you to the external chassis of the system
unit.
