Switch Blade Port Assignment

The first switch blade (1) is connected via the internal midplane to each ports A
of all the server blades, e. G. LAN port A of server blade 1 is connected to port 1
of switch blade 1. If port B of the server blades is also to be used, a second
switch blade must be installed in the corresponding slot (2). In this case the two
switch blades are redundant.
The figure below shows the assignment of the server blade LAN ports to the
switch blade ports.
