The Management Blade

Ê Push the locking spring in the direction of the arrow (1) so that the lithium
battery snaps out of the holder, and pull the battery out (2).
Ê Slide the new battery of identical type into the holder (3), and push it in the
direction of the arrow (4) until it locks in place.

– Upgrading the management blade BMC via the LAN,
– Rebuilding the management blade default settings,
– Performing an emergency flash of the management blade firmware.

Upgrading the BMC via the LAN

The procedure described below is to be performed for each of both

management blades.
Requirements
– The blade server is connected to the power line.
– The management blade LAN port is connected to a client PC.
