Removal and Installation Routines
Proceed as follows:
Ê Install and run your TFTP server software and copy the desired firmware file
(*.bin) into the TFTP file system root directory.
Ê Check the LAN connection by pinging the desired management blade.
Ê Specify the IP address of the TFTP server providing the BMC image file for
the management blade firmware. Enter the path and file name for the
management blade image file.
You can do this in two ways:
1. Open the TFTP Upgrade submenu in the management console (Telnet).
Enable the Management Blade/TFTP Update option.
2. Choose System Property - Environment Maintenance - Firmware Update -
Management Blade BMC Update in the management blade WebUI.
The IP address to be supplied in the field Agent Update IP Address

is only temporarily used. Enter any IP address which is not used
in the LAN segment of the server.
Ê Click the [Apply] button.
Ê Once the upgrade process is complete, reboot the management blade.
