Removal and Installation Routines
Replacing the Front Control Kit
The front control kit consists of the front control panel (containing indicators and
controls on the server front), the connection cable, and the docking board which
is connected to the midplane.
After exchanging the front control panel the chassis ID PROM, which

provides the serial number and the revision of the server, is to be
programmed.
