voltage?
YES-^ Repair any short to power in the wire(s)
between the heater control panel and the mode
control motor. This short also damages the heater
control panel. Repair the short to power before
replacing the heater control p a n e l . •
N O - G o t o step 6.
6. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
7. Check for continuity between following terminals
of the heater control panel 22P connector and the
air m i x control motor 7P connector.

continuity?
Y E S
Check for loose wires or poor connections at
the heater control panel 22P connector and at the
m o d e control motor 7P connector. If the
connections are good, substitute a known-good
heater control panel, and recheck. If the s y m p t o m /
indication goes away, replace the original heater
control p a n e l . •
NO—Repair any open in the wire(s) between the
heater control panel and mode control motor. •
